Approved Distance Learning Provider

The Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement (CLEST) only certifies courses that are taught in the State of Arkansas. When private organizations are presenting training in the state, they must obtain the sponsorship of a local law enforcement agency. It then becomes the responsibility of the sponsoring agency to insure that the appropriate steps for course and instructor certification are completed.
According to Colorado POST, “POST does not approve or endorse training vendors or the classes they offer. All Colorado law enforcement agencies determine which training courses are appropriate for their officers and do so independently of Colorado POST.”
The only exception applies to a small number of academy instructor-level courses—such as Instructor Methodology, and certifications for firearms, driving, and arrest control instructors. Outside of these, no law enforcement training is “approved” by Colorado POST, nor is it required to be.
Prior to conducting training in the state of FL, a private organization must obtain approval from their agency lead. Upon approval, it becomes the agency's responsibility to ensure that the necessary procedures for credited hours are fulfilled. At the end of the course, a certificate of completion containing the total hours of attendance will be provided.
The sponsor agency is responsible for submitting training hours to Georgia POST. Attendees will be provided a course completion certificate.
If a training course is not sponsored by a Georgia agency PATC will submit the hours to GA POST. Students will need to provide their Okey # on the daily class sign in for credit to be applied.
The sponsor agency is responsible for submitting training hours to Georgia POST. Attendees will be provided a course completion certificate.
