The instructor has an extensive background in crisis intervention and hostage (crisis) negotiation and will share the principles of these intervention and de-escalation techniques via case studies from the instructorís work as a hostage negotiator.

This course will examine how to assist people after a traumatic event, including support services, Critical Incident Stress Management, the sharing of information and working with law enforcement.
