  WHAT IS AN RSS FEED?

An RSS feed is commonly translated as "Really Simple Syndication."

Functionally, for purposes of the feeds listed above, users can subscribe to our feeds and automatically be sent a summary and link to the most recent law enforcement training articles, legal updates, school resource articles and more (PATC Article Feed), and Cyber Crime/Digital Forensics Blog Entries (PATCtech Blog Feed) to their favorite RSS reader/aggregator (i.e., Google Reader, Bloglines, NewsGator, email clients like MS Outlook and many, many more).

Functioning like a standard email client, upon subscribing to the RSS feed, you access your RSS reader and any feed you subscribe to will show their most recent posts - in our case the most recent articles and blog entries.

The advantage of subscribing to an RSS feed is that you don't have to worry about missing an email, or knowing if you have the most current information - as the most current information is automatically sent to you.
