SERIES OVERVIEW: For our chosen vocation, law enforcement, to continue to grow in the eyes of those we serve as a true profession, we need great leadership. Great leadership in every level of each organization. In this series, we will take a close look at great leadership and some of the qualities associated with being a great leader.  In each session, attendees will be exposed to a particular leadership attribute as well as strategies to improve their own ability to lead in this area.  Please note, just like great leadership requires no title, neither does this series. Sworn or non-sworn; Chief, Sheriff, Deputy, Officer, Dispatcher, Clerk; all are welcome and encouraged to attend. While you are encouraged to attend all 12, each session will stand on its own.

Did you realize that you donít motivate people but you do inspire them? When people appear motivated at the conclusion of a discussion or meeting (like a locker room speech), it is because the leader inspired them to look deep at what they already believed. In doing so, the leader unleashes passion and commitment in a remarkable way. This session is all about understanding what it takes to be inspiring.
