Timothy J. McClure was a lieutenant and the commander of drug enforcement
statewide when he retired in 2000 from the Indiana State Police. He spent
16 years in the criminal investigations division, including stints as an
undercover investigator and a frontline supervisor. Mr. McClure began his
law enforcement career in 1975 with the Indiana University Police Department
and joined the Indiana State Police in 1979.
Indiana Governor Frank O’Bannon appointed Mr. McClure director of the Indiana
State Ethics Commission in 2001. In late 2003, Governor Joe Kernan reappointed
Mr. McClure to the position, in which he served until January 2005.
Mr. McClure earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in forensic studies from Indiana
University and a Master’s degree in Criminology from Indiana State University.
He is scheduled to graduate from the Indiana University School of Law in
2006. |
