on interview and interrogation. He is the author of The
Truth About Lying: How to Spot A Lie and Protect Yourself
From Deception which has been translated into several foreign
languages. He also authored numerous written training courses
and study guides as well as produced numerous audio and
computer assisted learning programs. He is co-author of
published scientific papers as well as papers presented
to such groups as the American Psychological Association.
Stan has served as a subject matter expert
on interview and interrogation to John Hopkins University
and was a principal investigator in research conducted
though John Jay College in cooperation with the NYPD and
the NY District Attorney's Offices.
Stan is a professional member of the National
Speaker's Association, the International Law Enforcement
Educators& Trainers Association, an Associate Member
of the American Polygraph Association and an associate
member of the International Association of Homicide Investigators.
