Lieutenant/Range Master/Armorer (Retired)

Ron is presently the Director and Owner of Weapon Systems Training Council and has served as Director of National Law Enforcement Sales and Training for a well known AR Rifle manufacturer. Recently, due to the demand for the WSTC training courses, Ron left his previous assignment of six years to focus totally on training and working directly with the companies and manufacturers who are sponsoring the Weapon Systems Training Council Courses and supporting law enforcement and government agencies.
Ron retired after 27 years of Law Enforcement and 20 plus years with the Carmel Police Department. He has served in many capacities during his career: as Patrol Division Shift Commander, Criminal Investigator, Firearms Training Instructor, Range Master, Assistant Training Director, Department Armorer, Emergency Response Team Member (SWAT), Director of SWAT Training, Director of the Urban Patrol Rifle Unit Program, Competitive Shooter and member of the 416th Army Rifle Team.
Ron served as Sales and Training Director, as well as, Armorer Course Instructor with his previous company. He is owner and lead instructor for Weapon Systems Training Council and a Training Partner with Public Agency Training Council. He also is an instructor for the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy’s Patrol, Carbine Instructor Certification Schools and LE Observer Sniper Schools.
Ron has instructed several courses for the DEA-FBI and presently instructs courses at other major law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S. In addition, he has been the speaker and guest at the National Rifle Association Headquarters, Weapon Media Writer events, PASA Range, Sig Arms Academy, International Shot Show, Outdoor Channel with Peterson’s Hunting World, Whitewater Trails and other sporting events and tactical shows throughout the country. Ron is dedicated to the instruction and continuing education of law enforcement agency and government officers.
Training and educational programs range from Armorer Classes to Basic & Advanced Weapon Handling Skills, as well as Optics, Equipment, Patrol Rifle Program Organization, and Education.
