I am the current Chief of Police for the Tularosa Police Department in Southern New Mexico. The force I oversee is 6 officers plus me. I also have 4 dispatchers and three animal control officers. I started my career in Law Enforcement in Johnson County Indiana as a Sheriff’s Deputy. During my time there I was a Narcotics Detective, SWAT team member, Motor Officer, and Patrol Officer. I also instructed the reserve school for multiple different subjects as well as was an FTO for the reserves and new officers. I retired from there and went to the University of Indianapolis Police Department where I was a Detective, SWAT team leader and FTO Coordinator. I then found my way to my hometown of Alamogordo, New Mexico where I worked for two years before obtaining the Chief of Police position in Tularosa.
