I want to be a PATC Instructor. What is the
process?
- Look at our Schedule
of Courses
You should have expertise in an area that is not currently
being covered by another PATC instructor. All PATC instructors
are specialists in one field. They do not teach Homicide
one day and Hand Cuffing Techniques the next. If you have
a new class you think would interest the Law Enforcement
or Fire Service communities, or just a new perspective
on a current subject - we encourage you to submit it.
- Submit the following
materials
A Proposal for the Course
Course Title
Course Outline
- The first chapter
of the Student Manual
- The first part
of the corresponding PowerPoint® presentation
A professional resume or vitae
A copy of your instructors certificate
A brief letter explaining your perspectives on teaching
All of the above items will be considered by the PATC Course
Committee.

materials - Contact the PATC
