Gary Berry is currently an active law enforcement and training officer in the Washington, DC area. He is a former Senior instructor/trainer for Department of Treasury Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Glynco , Ga.
He is certified to develop and instruct in many law enforcement disciplines, including: unarmed defensive tactics, close quarter combat, extendable baton, PR-24 baton, handcuffing, vehicle stops and extractions, crime scene investigations, fingerprint classifications, safety and survival, drug identification, sequential drug testing and undercover operations. He was the training supervisor at the Peace Officers Training Academy in London, OH from 1981 to 1987, and has trained thousands of officers nationwide at all levels in numerous law enforcement tasks.
Gary is still active and certified for training local, county and state officers in basic and advanced defensive unarmed tactics, batons, defensive driving, vice drug identification and undercover operations. He is considered an expert in multiple forms of Martial Artis and holds a 6th degree black belt in Shorin-Ryu Karate. |
