Dustin Deutsch currently works as a senior investigator for the nation’s third largest county, Harris County in Houston, Texas. Investigator Deutsch has initiated and been directly involved in several hundred felony cases including fraud, arson, robbery and murder. He has been selected to testify in countless criminal cases in an effort to enlighten juries across the nation in regards to advanced investigation techniques. His expertise includes digital technology in regards to computer forensics and cellular data.
Dustin Deutsch has also piloted a technical investigation series designed to complement effective criminal cases. The series includes interviewing, interrogation, internet research, background research and the utilization of cellular data in criminal investigations.
As a result of his work product, Dustin has been featured in over fifty various media outlets (local, state & national) on various aspects of criminal investigations and prosecution. He was also featured in a documentary special on incendiary vehicle fires that aired on CBS.
The purpose of this course is to provide a sound foundation to all criminal investigators in regards to digital cellular technology. The course will cover the network, infrastructure, limitations and abilities to clear more cases with cellular forensic evidence. All of the examples and course exercises are authentic criminal investigations.
It is strongly encouraged to bring a PC based laptop to the course to facilitate the installation of software and use of the various programs.
