Chris Dawson is currently a Special Agent with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. Chris began his career as a police officer with the Kinston Police Officer in Kinston, North Carolina and was only a patrol officer for 6 months before being transferred into the Narcotics Unit to focus on undercover work. Chris participated and conducted hundreds of undercover purchases of narcotics and conducted hundreds both state and federal vice and narcotics investigations.
Chris joined the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation in 2004 and has continued extensive work in the field of narcotics investigations. Chris is currently assigned as a Task Force Officer with the Drug Enforcement Administration Raleigh, North Carolina Resident Office where his focus in on complex conspiracies, wiretap investigations, and the processing of federal forfeiture investigations.
Chris has drafted and managed both court ordered wire intercepts and pen registers. Chris has logged thousands of hours into investigating and dismantling some of the largest narcotics organizations in the Eastern and Central part of North Carolina as well as conducting and assisting in national and international narcotics investigations. Chris demonstrates the tactics he has learned through his years of experience and further demonstrates using the tactics to help ensure successful narcotics investigations and prosecution. |
