Survey name: "Making
Ends Meat" - Law Enforcement and second jobs
Poll Release: September 2007 Week
#4
Where you live plays a major role on the
value of your paycheck. Therefore, this survey did not ask the amount
on your paycheck, but rather "Can
you get by?" with what you make. The poll was issued to
Law Enforcement officers across the United States and abroad.
Being a "quick-poll",
the intention was not get to the bottom of wage discrepancies in
Law Enforcement, but rather to shed some light
on how well Law Enforcement wages are, or are not, fulfilling the
financial needs of officers and their families.
Responses:

Most responses for "Other" included military service. Additionally
other responses included the theme of "spare money"
