In the spirit of Labor-Day, a poll
was conducted for Law Enforcement, Corections, fire-service, school
and legal personnel on their opinions regarding the historical and
current role that Unions have in shaping modern labor wages, policies
and law. The poll also asked what single incentive people
feel is the most important to them.

Responses for "Other" included...
They WERE vital to shaping labor laws.
They still play some role. But the overzealous mentality has seen the
demise of the steel, textile, and some airline industry. Without the
clout to put a stop to shipping work out of country their importance
has lost its punch.
