Death and Homicide Investigation

Course Overview:
The sudden or unexplained death of an individual has a profound
impact on family and friends of the deceased and places
a significant responsibility on the investigator(s) and
agency(s) tasked with determining the cause of death/homicide
and person or persons involved.
This three (3) day training module will assist
in providing the knowledge and skills required to put the
pieces of the puzzle together through understanding the
manner of death, evidence and the crime scene, cause of
death, time of death, rigor mortis, autopsy and suspects
involved in a suspicious, unexpected, unusual, violent or
sudden death/homicide.
Upon Completion:
Attendees will have been provided the specific skills
