of civil and/or criminal charges. The course will be classroom
with many practical exercises to enhance learning skills.

How to tell when suspects are being deceptive
Illustrate digital media and its use in fire investigation
Illustrate how to conduct background investigations on suspects
using the
Internet, collected databases and subpoenas
Demonstrate the effective use of Data Acquisition Units
and Thermocouples
Illustrate how technology is changing the presentation of
fire investigations
Demonstrate how to initiate, create and document a full-scale
fire reconstruction
